Since its inception in 1999, with the establishment of the School of Life Sciences, and subsequently the College of Bioengineering in 2002, the Biomedical Experimental and Teaching Center within the School of Life Sciences has developed a comprehensive practical teaching system. This center has assumed responsibility for practical teaching and scientific research across three majors: Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, and Medical Experimental Technology.
Through initiatives such as life science competitions, collaborative student research projects, open experiments, and graduation theses, we have cultivated a distinctive approach to nurturing biology students. This approach emphasizes the development of innovative and practical skills.
Spanning an area of 2,000 square meters, our Laboratory Teaching Center is equipped with instruments and equipment valued at over 12 million yuan. Over the past five years, we have achieved significant milestones in teaching (team) construction projects, provincial and national undergraduate competitions, and the publication of high-level undergraduate papers.
