The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology has 15 members, including 2 professors and 9 associate professors. There are six Master's supervisors among the faculty members. We are mainly engaged in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Medicinal Plant Chemistry, Protein Chemistry and Proteomics, Medical Genetics, etc. and have presided over 7 projects of curriculum construction and teaching reform.

Members of the department have presided over 7 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 11 projects of the Provincial Science Foundation of China , 6 projects pertaining to enterprise services, and two projects of joint development with enterprises to achieve the transformation and application of products. We have also published 22 SCI papers in recent years, including 8 papers in TOP journals, and 13 patents have been authorized. The honorary titles "Excellent Lecturing Teacher," "Good Tutor in My Mind," "Excellent Class Teacher," and similar ones have been awarded to a number of staffs.
